WBF Congress – Elections

Franck Riehm, Helen Kruger and Fernando Alfredo Lema have been elected as members of the WBF Executive Council.
There were eight candidates for the three positions and the voting produced the following result:
- Franck Riehm – Zone 1 France 50 votes
- Helen Kruger – Zone 8 South Africa 28 votes
- Fernando Lema -Zone 3 Argentina 43 votes
The other candidates were: Aida Abu Jaber (Jordan, Zone 4) Georgia Heth (USA, Zone 2) Esther Sophonpanich (Thailand, Zone 6) Khaled Al-Kattan (Saudi Arabia, Zone 4) and M. Rahman Mohan (Bangladesh, Zone 4).
The Congress approved the recommendation of the Executive Committee to appoint Gianarrigo Rona President Emeritus of the WBF.
