The World Bridge Federation is pleased to announce the official match dates for the 3rd edition of the Small Federations Online Open Teams.
The event will take place across two playing periods: October 15-18 and October 22-25, 2026.
A comprehensive microsite containing details and how to register will be available in April 2026.
About the Small Federations Online Open Teams
The Small Federation Open Teams is an open representative teams event for small National Bridge Organisations (NBOs with up to 650 members, not taking into account players under the age of 25 and mediated by past performance in zonal and world championships).
Each NBO can enter exactly one team.
It is an official WBF World Championship. Participating NBOs will be asked to provide a suitable venue and on-site monitoring. All tables will be recorded, monitored and made available for review and broadcast in line with standard WBF promotion and integrity requirements.
Format
12 matches of 12 boards held online, over two 3.5 day periods.
Entry Fee
US$160 for the entire team (the event is partially subsidised by the WBF).
