- Gonzalo herrera
Gonzalo Herrera began playing bridge in 1964. He has represented Mexico in 9 world championships, 7 World Bridge Series, and 3 Bermuda Bowls. He has won 21 national team championships and 23 national pairs championships. He holds 110 Blue Ribbon qualifications, has been a Central American and Caribbean champion, and won an ACBL national title in the 0-10,000 Imps Pairs in 2021. He has twice finished second in the National Swiss Teams in the United States. He founded the Tenozcalli Bridge Club and has served as tournament director not only at that club but also at Club Azteca, Club de Industriales, Club Bellavista, and in several regional and sectional tournaments. Gonzalo served as President of the Mexican Bridge Federation for 18 years. He is currently a professional bridge player, teacher, and has served on the Executive Counsel of the World Bridge Federation since 2019.
